On August 28, 2021, law enforcement received a disrupted 911 call regarding a woman reporting that her husband was intoxicated and harassing her. Upon arrival, officers identified the husband as Joshua Springer, who had a revoked driver’s license.
When officers instructed Joshua to exit the vehicle, he refused to comply and attempted to escape by ramming his car into a police patrol vehicle. Due to the dangerous nature of his actions, law enforcement promptly took control and arrested Joshua. He was charged with multiple offenses. However, the charges were later dropped due to his passing in September 2021.
