I would have given this one star if not for the beautiful artwork in the book.
The Chronicle books are meant to be in-universe lore bibles for WoW. This is badly written with unnecessary timeline retcons and doubling down on storylines that the community largely rejects. It is so badly proofread that the Champions are referred to as “the players.” I had to laugh out loud.

Love the book, but there were some grammatical mistakes in it not to be noticed. Again, I liked this book

Great lore summary for those like me that can no longer play the game but love its universe and story. Seller needs to protect the books better though, came in with every corner of the book damaged in some way. Unnacceptable.

…By this cunning plan, the worst enemy Azeroth ever faced, arose again. Fortunetly, the mighty champions of Azeroth were nearby and with a hard fought battle (which I won’t describe) and a heavy casualties, they prevailed and decimated this threat for good, once again…
Now, take this and repeat it on every page, for every enemy from Mists of Pandaria to Shadowlands.
That is the book.

They tell you about the Jailer at the start of the BFA section which was a big mystery in game as to what Banshee Queen’s reasons were for starting the war. The Art is what really lets this down, I did not see a single piece of art in this book that was really imaginative, many were basically cutscene screenshots. This volume just struck me as a bit lazy and the story is told through the lens of someone sitting in a bush watching all this go down so its a bit odd at times, sometimes they are very broad as if third person and other times oddly specific as if first person.

Seri 4’üncü kitapla devam ediyor. Mükemmel koleksiyonluk kalitede. MoP, WoD, Legion, BfA ve Shadowlands lore’unu içeriyor. Yeni gümrük kanunları yürürlüğe girmeden aldığım için mutluyum.

If you’re collecting wow books like I am, this is a must have. Otherwise, you can safely pass it as it will be retconed in 2 years anyways.

Seriously lacking in quality, especially in comparison to some of the short stories released recently by Blizzard. There are many syntax and other editing errors in addition to some issues with in-game continuity which I won’t audit here. I’m all for the Titan PoV theme, however there is only one mention of this volume being some kind of in-universe “tome” and it is (very abruptly) placed squarely in the middle of this read. Super weird. Was kind of expecting more from a numbered Chronicle volume released at a critical time for WoW storytelling.
