Aside from that, these are incredible books! I read them when I was younger and I still love them at 24 years old. The story on the surface may seem a little silly, but deeper down it’s about embracing differences, teamwork, and creating one’s own destiny

Was für eine schöne Fantasygeschichte! Mit den Drachenkindern hatte sogar ich als Erwachsene meine schiere Freude! Es ist einfach spannend die Story zu verfolgen mit fünf ganz individuellen Charakteren in einer Welt voller anderer Drachen. Ich könnte mir gut vorstellen, dass “Wings of Fire” ein Buch ist, das auch Jungs gerne lesen, obwohl ich es für alle Kinder geeignet halte. Aber erfahrungsgemäß ist es immer eine Herausforderung, geeigneten Lesestoff für Jungen im Alter von etwa 10 Jahren zu finden. Daher spreche ich speziell hierfür diese besondere Leseempfehlung aus.

Books were delivered in almost perfect condition, just a tiny bit of wear in one of their edges, but otherwise all fine and the books thenselves are great; Eagerly looking forward to getting the second boxset next month so I can binge the rest of the series.

My eight year old loves these books. He’s not finished with them, but just the other day he asked if he could stay home all day and read them! He loves to read, but it’s been hard to find something he’s interested in and he loves them.

Bought these for my 8 year old for a Christmas. It took him a couple months before he decided to start reading them, but once he started it’s all he wants to do. He reads in his free time and sneaks to stay up and read at bed time. He is always telling me about the storyline. My son reads above his grade level at about a 4-5 grade level and trying to find something challenging enough for him but also age appropriate was pretty tough, but this series nails it. The books are pretty long at 30+ chapters per book, and he is reading them in about 2 weeks five or take. I’ve already purchased the next set for him. These books are fueling his love of reading.
