I got this set as a gift for my 11yr old son & he LOVES them! He keeps reading every chance he gets! It’s a very well-written series full,of adventure!

I bought this to read aloud to my 10&11 yr olds. We all thoroughly enjoyed the series. The third book was our favourite.
Both of my kids could have read this themselves but we like reading some books together.
I avoid books that have bad attitudes, romances between kids and other modern day agendas. This book had none of that garbage. It was well written, exciting and not predictable. We fell in love with the main characters.

I started reading these books because my friend’s 16 year old son recommended them to me. I love fantasy, but as a Christian, it can be very difficult to find fantasy books that are centered on the faith that are actually good! I wanted to something that was easy to read, was a series, had a good plot, and was written by a Christian author.
I can say that The Wingfeather Saga went above and beyond all my expectations! I laughed, I cried, and I enjoyed every minute that I’ve as reading these books. I devoured them!
Not only that, but the cover art of every book is STUNNING. If I wasn’t reading the books, I was starring at the covers of each one.
This series is so so rich from the world building to the characters. I love the world of Aerwiar and the complexity and simplicity of the world. I love EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER. I love that Janner is the most relateable character, with complex inner thoughts that frequently reflect my own in times of trial. I love Janner’s complex wrestle between his sinful nature as a human, but also the godly love and tenderness he feels towards others. I love how ALL of the male characters embody biblical masculinity. It’s so refreshing to have men like that especially in this day and age. I love how the women in the series are tender, strong, and embody what it means to be a woman.
Overall, if you need a seriously amazing series to read or to read with your kids, I would 100% recommend this one!
My friend’s kids and I are anxiously anticipating the animated series release on December 2nd! I would highly recommend to read this before watching the series! ❤️

These are so addictive! We can barely put them down at night as we’re reading. It’s so intense and so many cliff hangers. My 8 and 10 year olds are very interested and intrigued. Buy them, you won’t regret it!

My husband, 9-year-old and I fight over these books. We race to see who can read ahead of the others. The characters have a strong family bond and are portrayed as very real the way they act and feel. The story has some evil characters and a few scenes that would be upsetting to younger, more sensitive readers and I’d recommend reading it later for maybe age 8 and under. But I am very sensitive, and if I can read and enjoy it, I think most people could.
The story gets better and better, just when you think it couldn’t possibly get better. I’ve laughed out loud, I’ve cried.
It’s a beautiful story of a family who sticks together no matter what happens in the evil world around them. Also there’s a lot of humor and curious characters that hold your attention in every page.
Our FAVORITE books we’ve read EVER!!! Applause to Andrew Peterson!! Well done.

Diese Bücher sind einfach nur der Hammer!!! So spannend, so kreativ (ich liebe es, wenn man so viel Freude daran hat, mit wie viel Fantasie der Autor alles ausmalt, und auf welche Ideen er kommt – unglaublich!), tolle Geschichte mit tiefen Lebensnahen Gedanken/Lehren.
P.s. das Audiobuch (bei Audible von dem Autor selbst gesprochen) ist auch unfassbar gut – sogar die verschiedenen englischen Akzente macht er nach! Wirklich toll!

Our family read these aloud during our lent this year. We loved them. My 2 year old was asking for the characters by name and kept going to the bookshelf to bring the books to my husband and I to keep reading. Beautiful hardback books with well designed cover art and sketches in the story. We couldn’t be happier. We are going to purchase another set to give to our friends!

I loved the series and just bought the set again for my son-in-law to make sure he read them to my grandchildren 😁. But I love everything by Andrew Peterson, so I wasn’t surprised at how well written this series was. My favorite book by Andrew Peterson, however, is the God of the Garden. Such a good book.

I bought this series for my son who is 10 and he loves it! He read them all so fast because he couldn’t put them down. He’s even started reading the series over again. I like the message that it brings and that it has Christian teachings such as faith. We found out there’s a tv series as well! Definitely recommend this series!

We bought these after watching the Netflix series and they have not disappointed. Kept our kids well engaged in reading and they loved it. Captivating and relatable to young ones. Has a magical other worldy storyline similar to Last Airbender, Dune, Harry Potter, etc. The authors have done a good job.
