This series marks a change in my life. A change from reading books that are great, amazing, awesome, to reading these books which were mind blowing, life changing, and my “Roman empire” as they say. I wish I could convince everyone (even men) to read this series. If anyone gave this less than five stars, they have to be out of their minds. All of the characters are so well-written and by the end I felt like I knew them personally. I cried, I laughed, I sobbed, I paced. Truly the best books I’ve ever read. Get the hard cover if available, you will want to treasure these.

First off this is a fantastic series!!
But don’t cheap out like I did and buy the kindle bundle. Buy the individual titles.
This series isn’t intended to be read as the books were written, but that is the way the bundle is laid out. Trying to navigate this bundle is so difficult. The books aren’t listed by book title in table of contents so it’s hit and miss to try to find the next book. I wish I would have asked for my money back on the bundle.

Wow she really did write an EPIC. Each book is fulfilling and drives toward the EPIC good vs. evil standoff. If you’ve read any of Ms. Maas’ other works you know it’s kind of her formula. Personally I like the Court of Thorns and Roses series the most, but if you need more MAAS then you must read this.

I read each book and impatiently hung onto each word! Great series! The interconnected stories had me wanting more as I went through this set.

The journey the characters go on and the fact you get multiple point of views makes it where you’re not left wondering what was going on elsewhere or how is this character feeling about the situation. Sarah J Maas does a great job of taking you through all the emotions. Getting to read how the main character planned years and years for getting her kingdom back was amazing. And the end result is absolutely beautiful.
