Finally, I found a non-graphic series for my kids which they absolutely love. I was literally worried about the fact that my kids were only interested in graphic novels and so they were reading less and visualising more. Not that it’s bad but it was getting too much. I finally found this and gifted it to them. Till this day they have read it several times and they are still not bored. I am now waiting for another series from the same author. I hope we don’t have to wait long.

Started reading first book to kids as bedtime story to my kids (10yr & 6yr) they LOVE it and always beg for one more chapter, chapters are short so it’s an easy yes and I am enjoying the story as well. It has inspired imaginations of my kids and contributes to enjoyable bedtime route. There is a movie coming out which is great motivation for kids to read the books first. Storyline is great, very descriptive read we all love!

My daughter’s 10 and 17 both enjoyed this series and are now looking forward to the movie. It is exactly as described. (3 hard cover books) The print is large enough for a child to not be overwhelmed with all the little words on a page. There are black and white pictures too and the chapters are short. Purchased for $30 on sale.
