I bought it for my son who is going to go to 3rd grade, we have already started practicing at least one page a day, in addition to his daily practice in the IXL application, it seems like money well spent and so he can practice during the summer and don’t find it so difficult when he starts third grade. Since that year is where the national evaluations begin.

This workbook and dedication helped my daughter move forward to the fourth grade!! I was just waiting to give a review but wanted to wait 6 months before writing one. She was struggling and not grasping new concepts. She felt like she was being left behind which is difficult to hear. I decided to order this book and give it our best efforts. At least 3 maybe 4 days a week at completing 3 pages a day (depending on complexity) and she is confident in tests being given at school and her entire demeanor has changed! This book explains lessons so EASILY and a lot of pages feel like a game! Bonus points for all the pretty pictures on each page also. I don’t know where we’d be without this book. I couldn’t recommend it enough…to prepare for the next grade, getting caught up, or homeschooling. It is fantastic!

We use these workbooks for homeschooling. We typically do 1-2 pages a day and they have just enough work on each page that it doesn’t overwhelm my kids. The pages are colorful and visually appealing which is hard to find in math books. The only real complaint I have is that they are not spiral learning, so at the beginning when we learned about addition/subtraction and regrouping, that material isn’t covered again at all to retain knowledge. I will be adding a review worksheet weekly to our math lessons in the future.

Easy instructions to follow. Has kept my child engaged with short lesson. We like this as a supplement for our other curriculum to give extra attention to things he need to work more on.

We bought the 3rd grade & 2nd grade level for my children to do over the summer. These books do an excellent job teaching the concepts and moving the student into completing multiplication & division effortlessly! Just enough practice to reinforce the material. Absolutely recommend. We will be getting the next level to do thought out the school year instead of over the summer. Why wait to realize they didn’t grasp a concept in school?
