The book was awesome. But the outside cover did have some scuffs and bent. But I saw the other reviews and kind of expected that just glad mine was not as bad as other cuz it was a gift.

I bought this book for my dad and he absolutely loves it! He has read several other books about Disney & documentaries, so I was hesitant this book wouldn’t give him any new facts. It has-he said there is a ton of great info and behind the scenes stories that he’s never heard of. If you are on the fence about this book, buy it!!! Awesome purchase for Disney fans.

My wife and I are big Disney fans. We already have a significant library of Disney books; most of these either take a chronological approach, or focus on a particular product (feature animation, theme parks). 100 Years of Wonder approaches Disney as a set of interlocking themes and ideas. How those themes are expressed across the totality of company output are then explored. Especially appreciated is the host of people, many Disney Legends, that converted these themes into reality. As expected, the imagery used in the book is stunning. There are many behind the scenes photos across that remarkable, 100 year history.
The text is well written and easy to read. This book is featured as a coffee table book in the Disney Vacation Club rooms. During our recent, 4-day stay I read almost 90% of the book. It is beautiful and I want to finish the read! It occurs to me this book should be a reference or teaching source for any teacher of art, art history or theater. You could build a semester course on this text. Highly recommended.

arrivato proprio tutto intero, ma fortunatamente il libro era perfetto. Unico problema la consegna. (non effettuata da amazon). Ho dovuto chiamare la ditta che se ne occupava, perché mi scrivevano che erano passati, ma in realtà non era passato proprio nessuno, quando ho chiamato per il reclamo, mi è stato risposto, (operatore gentile) che il mittente non aveva inserito indirizzo completo, e per questo la consegna non l’avevano potuta effettuare, ho ripetuto l’indirizzo all’operatore, il quale mi ha assicurato che il giorno seguente avrebbero effettuato la consegna, ed effettivamente così è stato.

If you are interested in the history of The Mouse, the parks and the man behind it all, this beautiful coffee table book is for you. It begins at Walt Disney’s birth and goes through the current day’s parks and describes the art that goes into every exhibit. It is a large and spectacular book anyone with an interest in Disney will thoroughly enjoy.
