Detailed description:
The book has the colors, you draw the lines: the creative possibilities are endless!
Reverse coloring is a totally new idea in creativity and mindfulness: so simple, and so profoundly satisfying. Artist Kendra Norton created these beautiful and whimsical unfinished watercolors to provide a gentle visual guide for your own creativity and exploration.
Trace the shapes, draw in figures, doodle, shade, cover an area with dots. Each page is an invitation to slow down, let your mind drift, and be surprised by your own creativity. And because reverse coloring requires no “staying inside the lines,” it empowers your artistic self-confidence while it calms the mind.
The Reverse Coloring Book™ includes 50 original works of art, printed on sturdy paper that’s single-sided and perforated. All you need is a pen.

Precis som på bilderna, jag är lite besviken på färgåtergivningarna då de flesta färger är dassiga men det är ju en subjektiv åsikt.

You don’t have to be an artist to enjoy this reverse coloring book. I have become tired with the regular adult style coloring books. I listen to a good audiobook and have my fine tipped ink pen ready. What results from drawing is really remarkable and encouraging. So relaxing and rewarding.

I purchased this as a gift for my friend who is an Art teacher. She loves to draw and paint but I was looking for something a bit different than just the ordinary sketch pad. She absolutely loved the Reverse coloring book! She had never seen one and it was a huge hit. Very neat!

I’ve become obsessed with reverse coloring books. I’ve been trying to find ways to not be distracted during long days of online meetings, and not be annoyed with all of the other things that demand my attention, and it turns out that reverse coloring, doodling on watercolor images like the ones in this book, is a balm for a busy mind. I have been using fine point micro pens in black for lines, and white gel pens for other doodles and it’s unlocked a new creative practice for me. I don’t like traditional coloring books because they feel boring to me. But this is a way to be creative with how and what you create! I really love it.

Está muy lindo el arte, las hojas son gruesas, no se traspasa la tinta, se pueden desprender. Es un libro para desbloquear tu creatividad y relajarte

Such a cool concept and perfect for traveling when you don’t want to carry lots of materials (you only need this book and a pen/marker).

Absolutely love this concept! It really makes you look at things from various perspectives and gets your creative juices flowing. The beauty of it is that it doesn’t require a lot of thought so it’s very relaxing and enjoyable. I also like that it doesn’t require a big time commitment, so if you have 30 minutes to spare, that works. Videos can be found on YouTube if you’re looking for ideas to get started. This book is great quality – I appreciate the heavy paper and pages that tear out of the book for ease of use and portability. The designs and colors are beautiful and calming. Highly recommend!

Really creative. I like that I can create my own patterns and designs over the water color pages. Ink does not bleed through, thick pages.

A great activity book where you draw the lines that reveal the images.

I am trying to cut back on so much mindless phone scrolling and thought maybe this would be a nice laidback activity in my downtime. I have had other adult coloring books in past but didn’t get into them as much with needing so many colored pencils or pens I liked that this was just one pen and one book. Though I am not a very artistically talented person this is really nice way to decompress and just draw. I love that for me I find the watercolors sort of naturally guide your imagination into what to draw without over thinking and getting frustrated on what exactly to do as someone again who isn’t an artist. I have really enjoyed this book and plan on taking it with me on a long roadtrip. I think this would make a wonderful secret Santa gift with some nice pens and plan on doing giving some as winter down time gifts for people. The only thing I would have liked more is some more examples or ideas but looking at other reviewer photos did the trick. Just buy it okay you’ll like it and if not pass it along because this is a hit.

Absolutely LOVE this “colouring” book. Tracing the colours, and drawing patterns and doodles where I like to enhance what’s there already is meditative and fun. I liked this one so much I bought the other two, and I am very much hoping for a Christmas edition with holiday pages.
I used the fine tipped Sharpie markers at first, but have also mixed things up with regular coloured markers and it’s all been good fun.
