May I as a none Catholic and a spiritualist with a strong Methodist background say how much I have enjoyed dipping into the word and, also reading very good notes on many subjects written in an/ easy style and very informative i like the coloured code as well and remember some of the problem or protestant bibles having codes but my Catholic Bretheran have gone one step more and created a very interesting reading system almost like the Thompson chain reference bible but I have serious issues with that bible due to its slanted view , nothing like that in this beautiful publication Revd Paul Barker BA DD (UNIV L CHURCH )

Beautiful blue leather cover that feels nice to touch, the interior pages are thin but not thin enough to tear easily. Nice print that is easy to read. The font is a good size so the wording isn’t all smashed together. Great maps to help you understand how the books of the Bible fit in with history. I would buy this Bible for family and friends. It will be a wonderful lifelong heirloom!!!

My name is Christopher and I ordered this Bible for my girlfriend. It came a day early and we decided to bring it to a speaking event in Chicago where Father Mike Schmitz would be that night!! We were so nervous to go up to him but he was so gentle, Saintly, and genuine. He signed our Bible and asked us of our names. Really like all the charts and details in each book. Wish it included a dictionary and other add-ons that other bibles include.

This was a great Bible, but it was a bit large and heavy for my young grandchildren. There was nothing wrong with it at all, and we ended up buying the smaller version of the same book.

The cover is so flexable. Easy to hold. Im reading with Father Mike. His excitement and EXPLAINING COMPLICATED passages are tremendously fabulously. Helpful hint
I bought the ASCENSION VERSION OF TABS for about $10. Save money and buy a $3 or $4 tabs threw Amazon. In case no one knows about Father Mike, “the Bible in a Year”. You can download ASCENSION APP for free. The Catechism and Bible “in a year ” is free to listen to. Other items you might have to pay for. You can also use tje fre version of HALLOW APP. All Catholic Approved. No im not affiliated. Ive been using Hallow App since 2022. HONESTLY, HALLOW HAS DAVED MY SOUL. Now reading the Bible will bring me close to FAITH AND GOD. Never touched the Bible till about a week ago. The Catechism Edition (got new at a great price threw Thrift Books on line). I started Catechism (a far cry from my Catechism 65 years ago) a few weeks ago. So many referrals to the Bible in the new version of ASCENSION Catholic Catechism,
i had to buy this version. The Catechism ASCENSION book had nice thick paper. Only disappointed this book is very thin. But goodness happy underliners do not bleed threw. Probably thicker paper would be more expensive. Im thrilled to have books to learn and love God. I hope i live another year to finish. Im 76. Go for this. Very amazing layouts. I have been wanting to have a copy of this Bible. I receive sale ad on it but since I am not tech savvy, could not progress to get it. With you although with more money, no hassle, i just press as i was taught how and is delivered to my door. It is very easy to read because the print is just right for my kind of eyes. And it has a very good guide to read it, and comprehend. Thanks.

I love everything from Ascension Press. I love the imitation leather, the introduction of the different books, and how it stays in line with the Bible in a Yeat podcast. I also love the RSV-CE, because of how easy it is to read and understand. I also love the font and how it is big, without being too big, so I can read it without straining my eyes. I also love the explanations of the key events in the Bible. The only thing I can hark on is that there are only 2 ribbons. The Bible in a Year reading plan usually has 3 readings from different parts of the Bible. I am having to use an index card as a bookmark. But this is only a minor detail for me. The entire thing is amazing and I love it
