    I have used several recipes out of this book. Easy to use. Great instructions and nice colored pictures! My favorite recipe was pot roast in a jar.

    Another good book to learn from when starting your canning journey. I enjoy a bunch of these recipes and tips provided. I think it’s a worthwhile addition for beginners but maybe redundant for those that are seasoned canners

    I found many of the recipes interesting & worth trying. In guides, it does give you step by step instructions for all the different types of canning. I’ve been away from it for a lot of years, but decided these times call for going back to some old practices & keeping meals ready to cook. May create an initial expense to gather supplies, but divided by number of meaks you’ll get will help mitigate. May even try to grow things this year.

I have never written a review on day I had been scouring the internet for recipes to can an Asian type sauce with apricots and plums with few results The new edition is loaded with new fun recipes. Small amount recipes 3 to 4 pints. Good suggestions on how to use the new condiments, salsa and sauce recipes. Mouth watering photography, simple to find ingredients Lots of spicy options. Just a great addition to your canning adventures. Good bang for your buck

    Excellent basic information, but the best is that it gives yummy recipes telling you how to use your preserved food! Not just the usual recipes, either! Clear instructions and attractive photos. Nice glossy paper.
