13 reviews for Stormlight Archive MM Boxed Set I, Books 1-3: The Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, Oathbringer (The Stormlight Archive)

  1. Gergana Dineva

The media could not be loaded.

I am not going to make a book review here, just in short I would say it’s a very well written piece of Fantasy, and if you like the genre, definitely should give it a try.

Concerning the edition, it’s a very think book, but it’s still relatively easy to read, it’s not to heavy in the hand. I love paperback editions, and this one is fine, the only thing is one should be careful not to open it too wide, because it’s glued and usually glued editions fall apart easier.
The only thing one should bare in mind is that there are illustrations with handwritten notes inside, which are very hard to read, due to the pixelated print. Other than that, it’s a nice piece.

  2. Bre

Books came neat and tidy. First book I’ve tried to read in 7 years, and I’m loving it! Well worth it.

  3. Jean Nataniel Dzwieleski Sanches

Pour mon fils. Il est très content de ce coffret.

  4. CJ

I first heard of Brandon Sanderson related to the Wheel of Time series, he completed that series after Robert Jordan passed away. He did an amazing job there and now has done a wonderful job with the Stormlight archives. Kaladan is one of the best characters I’ve seen in fantasy. His journey kept me from wanting to put these down. The box set is great, and I highly recommend it.

  5. Gergana Dineva

I have not finished all the books yet, but from what ive read, it’s excellent. Hard series to put down.

  6. Tyler Davies

The story itself is great, but the mass paperback version is practically written in pencil. You barely touch it and the ink bleeds all over the page.

  7. Gunnar

Brandon Sanderson created a very fun, creative fantasy world. A sometimes seemingly backwards world where plants can move, weapons can bind to the user, and women are more intelligent than men. It’s a fun escape from reality which is much more harsh, true, and frankly: boring. There are only 2 things I dislike about this series: there are lots of identity politics and categorization of people based on how they look, and the quality of the softcover books themselves aren’t great. Overall it’s really a fun universe and worth checking out.

  8. Amira Smith

    Swift delivery and great reading

  9. Client Kindle

I know this set isn’t the newly printed versions split into 8 books. I’m really pleased as these were great value in comparison! Highly recommend

  10. Way to small. Don’t buy if you are 6 feet or taller.

  11. Amazon Customer

If you haven’t read any of Brandon Sanderson books these are a wonderful place to start. They can be a bit slow to pick up, but once you are really immersed in his world they are thrilling and addictive. These books held up nicely and I would purchase again for the price.

  12. Grant

a great story for people who liked Harry Potter as a kid but have fallen out of love with the series. A wonderfully developed magic system and such meticulous yet well explained worldbuilding that a glossary is practically unnecessary after chapter 1. I’ve read the series twice already and plan on re-reading it again once the next book is out.

  13. Lychen

Perfect for a gift. Recipient loved them.
