Tweenty-three of these things, utterly amazing. Every one is convoluted, different and too da#n real. Now that Harvath is married, well just have to wait and see what comes next. Appreciate you acknowledging Peter Zaihan’s work, added to the reality of the story.

Brad Thor hits it out of the park again. I had a hard time putting it down. Love the timeliness of the events. Could easily have been in the news as I was reading but when Scot is on the case you know its going to turn out in favor of the good guys. If you haven’t read any of Brad’s books yet I highly recommend them all.
William de Rham –
“Shadow of Doubt” is a high-stakes espionage thriller. It’s well-plotted, features interesting characters and current events, and is set in a variety of captivating foreign locations including Paris, Nice, and Oslo. Author Brad Thor writes knowledgeably about the subjects he chooses to illuminate, whether it be mountaineering, how Parisians interact with each other, police procedures, or events involved in the war in Ukraine. I did find some aspects of his story a little far-fetched. Then again, this is a fictional entertainment. All in all, “Shadow of Doubt” kept me absorbed and turning its pages.

Scot and his soon to be wife, Solvi are up against a devious group of people. These devious people are not people outside of their network. There are people within willing to steal and kill for money. Scot knows this is all part of the spy game; and this game you trust very few. This is another well crafted Scot Harvath book. The beauty of this book is that there are individual stories within this book that make it intriguing. I enjoy the Scot Harvath character and each book seems to get better and better.

I have read all of Brad Thor’s books and this one really puts him at the top of his game! Right at the beginning you are thrust into a heart-throbbing page burner. Each scenario leads you into an action-packed journey of intelligent research and tradecraft. It is a book that is hard to put down! I searched Google for some of the incredible gear used by Harvath and his team and the amazing locales described in the book where the action takes place. His description of the Russian psyche and Russia’s vulnerabilities was very informative. It is a chilling and thrilling ride throughout the book that never lets up and never gets boring. I’m sure Brad will top this somehow with his next offering.
