T. H. Davies –
Great pieces, all referenced to the lesson course, which consolidate and extend piano skills. The pupil gets a real sense of achievement by building a strong repertoire. The printed version is probably preferable as it can be annotated but the kindle edition is very clear. Ideal for online teaching as a teacher resource.

The performance book has longer (1-2 pages) and often more interesting songs than the theory or lesson books. These are more like performance pieces that combine everything that the student has learned up until then. If the student needs a challenge without moving too fast in the lesson book then the performance book is a good idea.

We ordered the music book on request to my granddaughters teacher. The book was great, it explains clearly step by step instructions and finger positioning.

After using the primer level book, this was a logical progression to the next level. There is a good mix of song styles and the techniques build with each song.
