I liked this book because it was cheaper than where I first saw it and I really enjoy the drawings the author did to illustrate each animal and gave interesting details about the animal

I homeschool my kiddos and we love to do nature studies. Julia Rothmans anatomy books have always been a favorite in my household. The details of the images and the beautifully unique illustrations are incredible. My kids will flip through each book over and over just for fun. I’m glad she made these and I am a proud buyer. We love them. The binding is great. I’ve had the other anatomy books for a few years and they are still holding up after being used by multiple children. Even though the book is paper back, the book is made in car stock paper allowing for the book to have great longevity and durability.

Super book – great drawings, informative text. Very entertaining for children and adults. Slight US bias in the creatures, but a small issue with an otherwise outstanding book.

I bought this for my 7 (almost 8) year old daughter, who loves all things about the ocean/sea. I first was drawn to the book because of the illustrations, but all of the facts and how things are explained is wonderful too. My daughter can read well, so she can read some of this on her own, but I’m reading it to her since there are a lot of unfamiliar words. Definitely a great buy if your kid is into the ocean/sea and all of it’s creatures! 🙂

Bought this book for our then 9 year old ocean obsessed child. This book is amazing. The illustrations and facts throughout are so engaging. It has become a favorite for the entire family. Highly recommend!!

This book is well written and has beautiful illustrations. Each of the pages contains interesting facts and makes learning fun. I am excited for my middle schooler to get to use it in our homeschool. I will likely buy the other books in this series as well.
