One of my all-time favorites! I read this book to my sons over and over and we still sign off phone calls, texts, and emails with some portion of: I love you forever, I like you for always. Forever and ever my baby you’ll be. Now I’m buying copies for our family’s next generation of babies.
This is a sturdy version with paperboard pages. It will last for many readings!

I had purchased this book when my grandson was little and read it to him many many times. So when my granddaughter requested books for a baby shower rather than cards, it was my first choice! I wish I could have found my original book because we were asked to write something for the new baby but I could not find the original book. She is having my first great grandson and I am sure he will like it as much as my grandson did.

I received this book when I had my son back in the 80’s. Now I gift it to pregnant friends all the time. Each time I buy for a friend, I read it again. And my eyes always well up with tears. Now I’m the old lady and my son is a wonderful son living 3000 miles away. I say this because it’s relevant to the book. 2 years ago I was found unresponsive in my home by a friend. She contacted my son. He came immediately and spent the first 2 days sleeping in my hospital room on a cot right next to my bed, even tho I was unconscious. A different scenario than this book, but he came to care for me, just as the man in the book cares for his mom. Buy this book. Especially if the mother has a son.

I was given this book by my daughter when she was pregnant with her first child. It was given to her at a baby shower. She loved it so much she gave me one. That grand-daughter is now 22 years old, my daughter 50. As an elderly woman, I still find this a precious book to give new Moms!

I saw this book on Tiktok and got curious. I am so glad I bought this. Every time I read it, I always cry. My child cried too. For the longest time his favorite book is Goodnight, Moon (it was the very first book I read to him) and I am hopeful this will also be added to his list. Thank you sir Robert for one of the best children’s book I’ve read.
