Detailed description:
This pass along journal is great for any Adult/Kid relationship: Parent/Child, Grandparent/Grandchild, Step-parent/Step-child, Foster Parent/Child, Aunt/Niece etc. With over 50 unique prompts, you’re sure to bring your relationship to the next level!
Simply fill out a prompt and pass it to the child to fill out the next prompt. They will pass it back to you and then repeat. It’s fun to have a secret spot to leave the journal, such as under each other’s pillow. There’s no need for anyone else to read it–after all, it’s just between the two of you.
Prompts are diverse and never repeated. They range from
the fun (If you had a secret lair, what would you put in it?)
to the creative (If you could invent anything, what would you invent?)
to the reflective (If you could travel back in time 3 years, what advice would you give yourself?)
to the tender (Tell me what I do that makes you proud.)
Each page is single-sided, so no need to worry about bleed through, or use the back side of the page for extra writing space if needed. This quality journal will be a keepsake in your relationship for years to come.

I have four kids and a five year age gap between my oldest and middle child This is a perfect way to remind your eldest that while you may be busy with the other kids it’s great connecting through this book. Highly recommend

My daughter and I already have a super close connection but this strengthened it even more! She loves when I “hide” it somewhere where she finds it and we both enjoy reading what the other wrote and having a discussion about it

Love love love!!! My eight-year-old is struggling with spelling so this summer this is what we’re doing and so far it’s amazing. I couldn’t recommend it anymore! Great way to get to know what your child thinks about you and the world with a fun, safe and healthy way! So glad I found this!!!

This book is opening up communications with my not so talkative 10 year old. She and I are sharing this every couple days to really make her feel heard. Great purchase

Pages was falling out. So when I left the book under her pillow she’s young. The pages fell out and ruined it for us because she didn’t know what to do. I’m up to the first 6 pages and 3 have fell out. Sad because I was so looking forward to this

This journal is a fantastic way to share stories back and forth. We don’t feel pressured to write every day; instead, we add a page or two whenever we feel like it and then leave the book for the other person to take a turn. It’s a wonderful way to connect and share thoughts at our own pace. Highly recommend!

I got this to be a fun summer writing project for my daughter. We are one entry in, and already she has written something that brought me such joy. The first question is, “What is your favorite memory of me?” One of her responses was, “My favorite memory of you is going on the fishing trip because you didn’t want to hold the fish, but you still held the fish.” I am a vegetarian, so it grossed me out to hold a 20 pound fish, lol. I never would’ve known this was a favorite memory of hers. I can tell that this book will give me an insight to how she views the world.

My son struggles with his emotions and opening up/talking. This book is going to do wondering for building our relationship even more. When adults/child answered one of the questions there is an option for the reader(next writer) to answer what they have said and make a comment on for ex. A memory. Which I think is a lovely touch! Fast deliver. Good quality – really excited to use this with my boy. For reference he is 11.
