I’ve been using this book for 10 years with students ranging in age from 1st grade through 8th and really like the clear introduction to the notes and chords and basic music theory. I also appreciate that it is not dumbed down like some of the newer releases.

I’ve seen several books, but this one is easy to follow and learn the notes quickly. I love how they do one string at a time, so that it builds your confidence. Also, watching my daughter bloom has been most satisfying to watch.
