If you are a fan of Gravity Falls, you NEED to have this book! My son spent his own chore-money on it and was not disappointed. He has read it over and over. My other son loves finding the secret codes and ciphers that are hidden throughout it and is trying to figure out what all of them say. They have a separate notebook of translated secret messages. It has actually inspired my oldest to learn more about ciphers and both my kids to write their own journals! Five stars!

I bought this as a birthday gift for my sister because we both love gravity falls. I almost wish I never gave it to her. I flipped through the book to make sure I got the correct thing and lo and behold it looks exactly like the journal in the show. Would totally buy journals 1&2 if they come out.

Hello. Obviously i am a fan of Gravity Falls show from Disney Channel. Back when Disney used to make good stuff.
I had to have this item so i made an order of 3 books which i will probably review once i finish reading them.
As for this book i already know what it contains, though i did not read it 100% yet.
I have to say it contains lots of puzzles, text with symbols from the show. I recommend using the symbols wheel which has 3 different sets of signs for each letter of the alphabet, you can look it up on google photos, that is where i found it.
All in all it seems to be well made, quite solid, and overall it is well worth it if you are, like me, invested in this show.
I actualy was planning to make this purchase a long time ago but i somehow did not do it.

Ich bin schon seit meiner Kindheit ein großer Fam der Serie und das Buch ist einfach nur klasse.
Das Design und die Seiten sind eins zu eins gleich mit dem Buch aus der Serie und es sind Seiten enthalten mit persönlichen Informationen, die man so in der Serie nicht sieht. Einfach genial!
Mit ein wenig Englisch-Kentnissen und dem Hintergrundwissen über Gravity Falls lässt sich das Buch gut lesen.

I’m a HUGE gravity falls fan and so of course i had to get this. I had one when i was younger that had a bookmark in it but i lost it so i had to buy a new one but this one doesn’t come with the bookmark. It’s not a big deal but it would be nice. Or else the book came in great condition and it works perfectly. I will be busy for the next few days.

Gravity Falls is a fantastic and a bit dark Disney series that manages to ride the line between being a fun adventure for preteens and delivering a few age-appropriate chills. Throughout the show, the 12 year old twins, Dipper and Mabel Pines, consult a mysterious “Journal 3” by an unknown author to explain the paranormal experiences they keep having in the town of Gravity Falls during their summer staying with their great-uncle aka Grunkle Stan. Every entry seen in that show is reproduced here with many more. Don’t read before watching the show! Spoilers abound, including who the mysterious author is.
Recommended for kids that like spooky stuff, and adults that feel the same way.
