This wraps up the Conviction arc and starts the Millennium Falcom arc establishing a new status quo for the comic. The art is amazing here, although this is also where the grimdark themes seem to be mature. The human characters are finally becoming more than mere meat for the Apostles and other monsters here.

I have all the standard manga currently released (the cheaper, paperback ones) and this hardcover collection is quite impressive. The binding is very high quality & it has a nice, sturdy front/back cover and spine. I bet these will be able to last me a long time. Since I’ve read the manga up until the most recent issue, I haven’t had a chance to sit down and read through it again in the hardcover format, but I did skim through and the quality is very good from what I’ve seen.
The book comes shrink wrapped in plastic. There’s a large, stretchy black band inside that can serve as a bookmark as well.
Although a bit pricey, these are definitely worth having if you’re a fan of Berserk- whether you’re a new fan or more of a die-hard. Definitely recommend.
