I’m still in nursling school, a SCRNA recommended this book to me. I’m interested in the CRNA program, this certification will look good on my resume. I have to be a ICU RN first of course. I got this book a week ago, I’m in school break, so I have a little time until my next semester starts. I took the pretest before reading the chapters, the question are almost everything that was covered in med surge last semester. Super helpful! I love it is like having another ATI test bank or another Quizlet, but better. Worth it!! In my humble nursing student opinion. .

The practice tests are ok with this book, I passed my Ccrn on the first try. I read this book, did the practice questions and also I recommend the PAS-CCRN Dennison test bank, the questions are very similar to the exam. This book was much easier to read than pas-ccrn

Great book for more in depth review for the CCRN. In my opinion, the questions are harder in the book than they are on the exam. Great review source, especially if it’s been awhile since you were in nursing school. I have recommended to my colleagues as well. They have also passed on their first try with this book as well.
I had also ordered the flash cards. I wouldn’t recommend those. Didn’t use much and is the same content as the book just in a different format. Hope this helps and happy studying!

I just studied this for 13 days and was able to get a score of 102/125. Not my best work but a passing score is an 83/125 so not terrible. I felt it had a good amount of information but not too overly redundant.
