Helped spark some fun conversations with my kiddo and I and can’t wait to use them again to learn more things or se what’s changed with my family.

The contents in this box are amazing! This is such a great idea to start up conversations with anyone. My only complaint is the packaging was rather difficult to open. I may have a defective box because the short side tabs far exceeded the tuck-in tab. It took a good minute to open the box and couldn’t be done without ripping it either right-side up or upside down. Packaging is the only reason for the 4 stars.

It seemed like a silly game to invest in, but it has become a wonderful tradition in our “date nights.” It’s been a lot of fun getting to know other parts of my son, but some questions have served as great ice breakers with adults and have been useful in class. I highly recommend these cards.

These cards are great conversation starters and wonderful to use when building rapport with students. I’m a school counselor working with children in TK all the way through 12th grade, and have been able to use these cards with all age levels. I also appreciate that the cards ask questions about different emotions, which is great for broaching topics such as anger or sadness with a more gentle approach for those kiddos who may be a bit more sensitive than their peers.

I got this as I was afraid my daughter was having a hard time and anxious about switching schools when she starts kindergarten next year, but didn’t have the language to describe how she’s feeling. These card not only get her to talk about how she’s feeling and what she thinks, but it’s so fun we played it for 1.5 hours the first time.m, she just wanted to keep asking questions and now I carry them in my purse and pull them out whenever we have a few extra minutes.

We have been bringing this out at dinner and having the best time talking about our day! The emotions of the cards are also helpful for our 3 and 7 year old to talk through feelings associated with experiences in their day. We couldn’t recommend it more.

These cards are an amazing addition to my child-therapy office! I have used these cards multiple times already in sessions with kiddo clients who are looking to make friends this coming school year. My clients were very excited to see the new addition to my office where I use the “little spot” books and educator guide often. At the end of sessions, clients can earn “play time” at the end of session through positive reinforcement. They have chosen this communication deck time and time again.
