Im so happy to have my own copies of these books, I read them a year or two ago- and I’m so excited to having a reading marathon with these books in August. I love the writing and the characters, and the box it came in was in great shape

I bought these for my young teen daughter who started to read them and then lost interest. I decided to read all 3. Book 1: I had a little trouble getting into this one at first but once I did, it was a quick read. I enjoyed the story and wanted to know how Pip would solve the mystery. Good read Book 2: This was GREAT. I loved this book from beginning to end. I think I read it in under 2 evenings as I wanted to know what was going to happen next. Book 3: Meh. I didn’t like the twist this book turned. Based on the name of the series, I shoud’ve known what it would come to, but I just wasn’t a fan. The ending – awful. Just awful. I told my daughter is she decides to continue with the books to just read 1 and 2 and skip book 3.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Complete Series Set is a young adult mystery crime. I would say it’s 14+. This book is about a senior in high school, and it’s probably best for that age range, too. Mixed with all the funny moments, this book is fun and heartwarming that’s for (overall) all tween ages.

The books amazing. But I will say that the package did come a bit damaged and the books in the corners are not perfect. But that’s normal cuz it’s a package so.
my goodreads review:
a good girls guide to murder 5/5 – suspense OOKKKK soooo good like actually the plot was not what i expected at all!! this keeps you GLUED to the book wanting more. so excited for the second book, even though i have no idea what it could be about 🤷🏻♀️ i love the use of like “texts” and “documents” it makes everything feel so real! love love love this book 🤭
good girl, bad blood 5/5 – suspense So good. Really just excited to read the next one. It was left on a bit of a cliffhanger.
as good as dead 5/5 – suspense Def the best out of the three. I would like a bit more, but there of course is no fourth book (well a bit of hope and maybe) but we can clearly guess what happens the end. Really love this book it’s amazing!

I really was struggling with a reading slump. We’ve all been there. I ordered this set because if I’m being honest I tend to be a bit of a book dragon when it comes to series. Truthfully I’m thankful I didn’t just order the first book or I would have been incredibly grumpy waiting for it’s arrival.
Pips first adventure is a solid 7.5 in the reading scale with an ending that was while unexpected in the moment had laid very real tiny bits of breadcrumbs through the story. Once I closed the book I was a state of shock. I read the first two chapters initially and put it down for several days. Im really glad I decided to put it in the pool bag though and dedicate time to finish reading.
The second book was a faster read, finishing it over the course of a rainy Sunday. I was less of a fan on this one but only because at times it felt rushed. All said and done the story is very important for the final story though.
While I am a bit of a growing book hoarder, I refuse to buy a series and not finish them. Book 3 was another incredibly quick read this time split between early morning, lunch break, and a bit of a late night to bed. This felt like the great series finally in a tv show mixed between early Bones, Nancy Drew, and Pretty Little Liars. It was plotted beautifully with important call backs to the other books. I was able to enjoy this aggressively and as I closed the last pages found myself in a bit of a new beginnings depression. Letting go of Pip and our main boy was difficult but I am thankful to let them slide into their permanent homes on my shelves and on my regularly recommended YA mystery list.
my only complaint is the mild goose chase the third book leads us on with the person just getting thrown into prison without further interaction. Having known the writer at this point though it would not shock me if this was intended to be a bread crumb for another time. I was just disappointed by how that chunk of the story wrapped up.
I look forward to acquiring other books by this author soon! Get the Books and just enjoy them for the light fast-paced read they are.
