I got this series originally for my daughter when she was 8 and was slowly getting into reading and her words were “it’s adventurous, funny, and amazing”. It started with the first book then she kept wanting more, I ended up getting this set for my nieces and they too love them. They were having some trouble with reading but these were not as hard and they did the job by keeping them entertained and helped them enjoy reading.
What I like is that the series does not focus on Tinkerbell or other known Peter Pan characters as much as I had expected and instead gives a chance for a group of girls to experience Neverland.

I didn’t realize how advanced this series was and I’m a little confused how it fell into what I was searching. They will be great to read to her now and for her to grow into, but they aren’t great for someone who is a beginner to reading. She loves books so I’m sure it’ll be a hit regardless.
