A diverse steamy enemies-to-lovers romance from New York Times bestselling author and BookTok sensation Ana Huang.
Gorgeous, cocky, and fast on his way to becoming a hotshot doctor, Josh Chen has never met a woman he couldn’t charm―except for Jules Ambrose.
The beautiful redhead has been a thorn in his side since they met, but she also consumes his thoughts in a way no woman ever has.
When their animosity explodes into one unforgettable night, he proposes a solution that’ll get her out of his system once and for all: an enemies with benefits arrangement with simple rules.
No jealousy.
No strings attached.
And absolutely no falling in love.

Outgoing and ambitious, Jules Ambrose is a former party girl who’s focused on one thing: passing the attorney’s bar exam.

But the more she gets to know him, the more she realizes there’s more than meets the eye to the man she’s hated for so long.
Her best friend’s brother.
Her nemesis.
And her only salvation.
Theirs is a match made in hell, and when the demons from their past catch up with them, they’re faced with truths that could either save them …or destroy everything they’ve worked for.

It was in good condition; loved it but keep mind the title does come off to put some clear nail polish on it to protect it other than that it’s amazing

Okkkkkk best book so far in the twisted series! 👏👏👏 Much better than the previous 2 books. I love the enemies to lovers, angsty-ness to this book. The writing is definitely getting better as each book progresses and I’m loving it! I LOVE Jules and Josh’s relationship so much! I enjoyed the fact that Josh was so set in his mind and so adamant about his stance on Jules and then the next chapter he goes back on his word lol! Very funny!
But poor Jules, I’m glad we got to see a different side of her and get to learn about her backstory. Everything all clicks into place when you read about Jules’ story. I am now in obsessed with these 2. I’m hoping the last book ends on a high note but for know, Josh Chen is the top tier in this series!

Twisted Hate by Ana Huang is an addictive, hot, angst-filled, dual pov romance, following two people who hate each other more than anything in the world, and with a desire that burns so hot, it is simply a match made in hell.
Enemies-with-benefits. Forced Proximity. Bestfriend’s Brother. No Jealousy…and absolutely no falling in love.
From relentless bickering and good looks, nicknames, and truths to exploring and resolving the demons of their past trauma, Josh and Jules’ story is one unforgettable story. Jules is one of the best female heroines I have read. To describe her in one word would be: fighter. Her strength, power, and how she carries herself are nothing less than admirable. Josh has an energy about him, adventurous and risk-taking, and even with a huge ego, he follows it with heart. He protects the people he loves with no hesitation…only he eventually goes to see Jules in the same way. The dynamic between the two of them is one of a kind. I rarely ever read enemies to lovers in romance for numerous reasons, and it will probably remain that way as Josh and Jules redefine the definition.
This book had me sobbing and smiling, screaming and giggling. The bonds, the trauma, the lies, I feel like there are not enough words to describe this book. When I write my reviews, I rarely include why I rate a book 5-stars, but Twisted Hate by Ana Huang broke the scale. I adore Ana’s writing, rating Twisted Love and Twisted Games 5 stars, but Twisted Hate in simple terms…A MASTERPIECE and can not compare. Whatever Ana put into this book, I want it running through my veins 24/7.
Twisted Hate follows the past and present of heroine Jules Ambrose and her path towards becoming a lawyer while her past unravels slowly; and her nemesis Josh Chen, a hot-shot ER doctor facing broken friendship and family. After moving away from each other, neither expected to cross any unnecessary path; they definitely never planned to be each other’s salvation. When the tension between them becomes too intense, and they call a truce, the attraction between the two becomes irresistible, even as the hate between them lingers. Amid Josh preparing to go overseas and Jules on track to become the next best lawyer, the arrangement is simple. Although the temptation for wanting something more has never looked better than written on the enemy.
Twisted Hate is the third book in the Twisted Series, composed of interconnected standalones that will have your heart and soul in a chokehold. Twisted Lies is the next book in the series, and I just know I will fall absolutely head over heels for it.

So, I’m only giving this 3.5 stars (4.0 stars rounded up) because of my own bias.
My MAIN complaint is this:
In the ending chapters, the main male character’s, Josh’s, cruel words (and actions!) toward the main female character, Jules, made me cry! I cried because I have personally experienced this (verbal) type of cruelty first hand. It’s almost worse than physical violence because it undermines your entire self-world-life view.
You know the old adage/nursery rhyme… “sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me”? Yeah…well, it’s BS. Cruel words DO hurt; they can destroy – more importantly, words CANNOT be taken back. Once spoken, cruel words are part of your memory, never to be erased.
Words can take you DOWN and cut you like a knife! Words can decimate your trust and loyalty and respect and love for the person who uses/utters those words against you. You ALWAYS, forever after, question their sincerity when they apologize – did he/she REALLY mean that? Should I believe his/her words?
The words especially stab you when someone you trust uses your secrets (given to them in confidence) against you in the manner that Josh did to Jules… So, in real life, given those truths, you DO NOT FORGIVE as easily or as quickly as Jules forgave Josh.
So, it was totally unbelievable to me that their reconciliation happened so fast (if at all) – I don’t care HOW much they “loved” each other.
Even though this novel was fairly well-written (there were more technical errors than Ms. Huang’s previous novels sported), had a fairly good plot (with a GIANT loophole, unfortunately – but, I won’t go into detail about that), I can only recommend it to the more forgiving and believing-in-love souls out there.
I, for one, am NOT so forgiving (having lived through the verbal abuse and cruelty)… so, uh, I just don’t know HOW the heck I feel about this novel!
Read it at your own (existential) risk.

So, I finally gave in and bought the Twisted series—and I’m so glad I did! The storyline across these books is absolutely brilliant, and they connect seamlessly with one another. Twisted Hate was my personal favorite out of the four, and I know I’ll be revisiting these books soon. It took me a week to devour all four, and I couldn’t put them down; the storylines are so engaging that you can really picture the characters coming to life. The emotional depth of these books is incredible.
Ana Huang is a truly talented writer, and I’m eagerly anticipating diving into her other works. I’ve purchased six of her books and read them all! Happy reading!

This is the third book in the series and I feel like it keeps getting better after each book. Another great book @authoranahuang and again loved the narration from @cindykay_vo and @aidensnovoice.

Enemies to lovers is my fav trope so I was into this story immediately. The balance of spice to plot to angst was good, and I liked all the interwoven characters enough to want to check out Stella and Ava’s stories ( I started with book 3 in this series). But wow that conflict at the end between Jules and Josh after her confession was OUT OF POCKET. Red flag red flag red flag. I didn’t think their story needed it, and frankly it would have been BETTER for them if Josh could be the one love in her life who didn’t judge her for her past. It’s a black mark in otherwise great story.
