I love this!! I’ve been playing Stardew Valley for the last 4 years and when I found out this was published I snatched it up. The entire book is pescatarian and has a lot of vegetarian recipes! As a vegetarian this is so nice. The recipes all look delicious as well! Definitely recommend getting even if it’s not for actually cooking and to just have the book. The books set and colors are so cute and fun!!

I bought it as a birthday gift for a friend who loves Stardew Valley and cooking. This book has every recipe that you can cook in the game, even including the last game update (1.6)! Maybe some recipes are questionable and you wouldn’t normally cook them, but that is what makes it fun. The pages and pictures are very high quality, and the hard cover makes it very nice for displaying on a shelf. I love the art style, and the gift was very well received!

Pink cake. Mango sticky rice. What’s not to love? This book has all the charm and Junimos a fan could want and is high quality. The recipes are solid. There are lots of really adorable illustrations as well that excited my 5 year old stepdaughter so she gets really eager to practice cooking out of it!

I’m obsessed with Stardew Valley. I’ve logged at least 2500 hours into the game on Steam, definitely more if I were to track offline/other console play. This cookbook is such a cute and fun way to fulfill the desire to eat all the dishes available in that game. There’s even a strange bun recipe! More than that, though, the thought, care, and attention to detail put into this book is fantastic. It’s really cute to flip to the pink cake page, for example, and see Hailey gushing about how much she loves it. The recipes are solid, easy to follow, and great for individuals of all cooking skill levels to have some fun with – Even if I can’t actually get a stardrop irl.

This book could’ve been a gag with different recipes for serving utter slop and I’d probably still rate it 5 stars. Concerned Ape is a magnificent developer who loves his community, purchasing his cookbook is my way to show a little love back. And my, what a great cookbook it is! The art, cameo from the Queen of Sauce and lore sprinkled in it really make it a special collectors item for any fan of the series. Now on to the bread and butter -The recipes look delicious! So far I’ve tried the bread and bruschetta and I’m loving it! Going to try to get through it by seasons. I’m in a sub tropical climate and summers right around the corner so that’s where I began. The fact that all the recipes are pescetarian or vegetarian are a fun change of pace. Besides, if I really wanted to, there’s nothing stopping me from incorporating meat. Have my eyes set on that delicious piña colada next! Like others have said, some of the recipes have seasonal forageables and herbs. While there’s no way I’m finding fiddlehead ferns laying around by me, I have started growing other herbs for my future dishes. I couldn’t be happier. It’s perfect 🙂
