Every road trip I put so much effort into making my boys bags full of stuff to entertain them. I’ve bought some really cool books in the past but nothing has kept them as entertained for a whole week more than this book (and another version of this book). I did not put anything together this time. I just bought two versions of this book only. They carried them around during our entire camping trip. They had their adult cousins helping them and having a hard time finding and solving things too which is good because sometimes these books are a little too easy. These ones are harder which is great. My boys are 9 and 11. They liked both versions but they fought the most over the hidden picture book. I even want to buy one for the adult cousins that were so engrossed in these books. Total win!

Last year someone gave my daughter a little magazine from Highlights with these hidden pictures. She was obsessed! I really liked it because we often did one together before bedtime. I got her this book as a stocking stuffer this year. She’s going to love it. There’s a variety of pictures – from easy to difficult.

  3. Toots

I didn’t research enough to know this was a book you write in. Still a great book though, rather thick and my 3 and 7 year old loves it.

  4. ThriftyCat

As a senior currently living in assisted living I’m always looking for books to sharpen my mind and this book definitely fits the bill! This book has black and white pictures colored pictures and also colored photographs. There’s an answer key in the back in case you get stuck. There are more than 80 puzzles to challenge even the most experienced puzzlers. Great gift and I highly recommend this book.

My 5 yo grandson might still be too young but he did like some of the pages. Hard to tell as he’s on the spectrum.

A bit difficult for my 8yr old but it has different images & challenges on each page. It looks very colourful & came in a good condition

My child loves look and find, but their difficult level doesn’t grow as your child does. This was more challenging than most. I wish they made more like this. Great for ages 7 to 8 I’d say. Depending on child. Is it to be a challenge or relaxing?
I found them fun at 42… perhaps not challenging, but relaxing and not insulting on simplicity.

  9. Amazon Customer

We love these books to do together

saw this on amazon prime day & I had to get it. I used to steal Highlight magazines wherever I saw them when I was a child. It truly is very difficult but fun! I wish there was a way to highlight the items or have a cheat sheet at the end to see if the item I found is actually there or just something close to the item list. LOL I am 33 years old & I have no shame for buying this for myself!!!!!!

  11. DG

V nice but I see it is advanced for 9 years

  12. DG

My wife loves all these types of books and this has kept her entertained for hours. We’ll worth it.

This can be used as a solo or group project. Lots of different activities other than finding hidden objects. I’ve given several highlights activity books and all have been enjoyed well
