Great business book, but also you want to learn more about the story and you don’t want to put the book down, it’s about restaurants but it could be applied to any industry, highly recommended.

Beware: This review shares some information in the book so don’t read if you don’t want to know something that happens in the book. This is a fascinating book but with one major flaw. The book builds your excitement from chapter to chapter about the author’s journey to restaurant success—then towards the end he drops the key news that he and his life long restaurant partner are breaking up and that’s it. And the author never gives you any clue this is going to happen nor does he explain really why it happened. I felt that he let the reader down by not explaining this more.

Soooo good. I bought it for my husband because I saw it in the background of an episode of “The Bear” – his favorite show. He loved it and passed it on to me. I was obsessed with it. It’s all about adaptive leadership! I have purchased 3 more copies for work buddies and we’re all obsessed. Guidara is a great writer – easy flow to his storytelling. I usually take months to read a book and I finished this one in a weekend. Highly recommend!!
